Tyson’s 4 year old daughter died
Tragedy fell upon former heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson when his 4 yr. old daughter, Exodus, died a day after she was injured while playing at their Arizona home. Phoenix police stated that she was playing on the treadmill on Monday when her head apparently slipped inside a cord hanging under the console. Since then, Exodus Tyson had been in the hospital on life support. Her older brother found her caught in the cable. Mike Tyson’s family asked for privacy. In a statement, the Tyson family said: “There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”Police strongly believed that Exodus’ death was just a result of a tragic accident.
This news came as a big shock to me. Though, I don’t know Mike Tyson very well and I’m not quite the boxing fan; however, I cannot imagine how it feels to lose your child whose only 4 years old. I don’t know and I don’t ever want to know how this feels…that’s why this serves as a reminder to us with families of our own. We should watch over our kids and don’t leave them out of our sight especially if they’re too little to know what they’re doing. I’ll be searching for an article that would help us make our homes safer for our kids to play on.
