If you were Filipino…how would you react?

My colleague saw this Ad when he was searching for cars from a classified ads site.

My only question to the author of this Ad is “If Filipinos are indeed stupid then why the hell are you here in the Philippines with us stupid Filipinos? Doesn’t that make you stupid too?”

I tried looking for this Ad but it was already removed from the site. Kudos to the admin for removing Ads like this ASAP.

Melrose Moving

I’ve talked about moving on one of my earlier posts but the question still remains, which local company to place our trust when it comes to moving all your stuff to your new home. We definitely don’t want to lose any of our belongings and definitely want to avoid having anything broken either. As I have mentioned as well, I’ve tried searching online for Moving Company Los Angeles and Moving Companies Los Angeles and stumbled upon a site called Melrose Moving , which offers a stress-free, reliable and professional moving experience for its customers. As I read more about the company, I found out that they pride themselves with providing their customers with fast, well-organized and above-all , affordable service which is more that we can ask for as a customer. Affordable in a sense that they are a local moving company, meaning their customers can save 30% compared to other non-local moving companies since they eliminate the possibilities of having a middle guy. Melrose Moving also cater to both residential and commercial moves as well as packaging services. This is indeed awesome especially if time is a luxury for you that you don’t even have the time to tie your shoe laces. Anyways, you can check out their site www.melrosemoving.com for more details or call 1-800-431-3920 to get a free moving quote!

Change

You may be wondering why this site doesn’t have updated posts as often as it should, I guess one of the reasons is that writing about celebrities isn’t that much fun anymore. Another reason for this decision is because both of us have a full time job that takes up most of our valuable time and being up-to-date with what’s up with Hollywood is no longer a walk in the park even for both of us. We’ve decided to write about stuff  more worth while. You may have noticed new stuff  on our site like the banner, header, tag line which we have removed and changed to something that goes like “What’s inside a blogger’s mind…”   Well, we haven’t had any final decision yet on what our tag line should but we’re definitely moving past entertainment and showbiz to more serious reality based topics.

We need your help…

I’ve been so preoccupied with my job that I haven’t done anything productive lately with our blogs. Now, I forced my already tired body to focus and finally do something I love…write. If you’ve watched the news lately, you may have come across the typhoon that hit my country last September 26. The typhoon “Ketsana” more popularly known as “Ondoy” caused severe flooding which resulted in the destruction of thousands of homes and the loss of many lives.

Due to the fact that all the time I have is mostly spent at work and taking care of my son, Vaughn, this is the only time I got to check YouTube hoping people were able to shoot scenes that happened when the typhoon hit.

My family and I are lucky enough to be far away from where the tragedy was hit but seeing people cry over the loss of their loved ones and what was left of their homes is just too much to bare. I thought the only way we can offer help is to at least give them the things they need to survive after the disaster such as donating dry goods, clothing, money or any form of assistance. Even employees who work at our company’s sites in Manila were affected and some are even proclaimed missing. So with this said, I am imploring you to help the victims of the typhoon “Ondoy.” Even just a small amount can make a difference to the lives of the victims.

This is definitely a tragic moment for Filipinos. Please pray for those who’ve lost so much during this tragedy.

In case you’re not aware of this tragedy check out YouTube for videos taken when the typhoon hit our country. Check out this video.

thoughts on Celebrity Scandals

Quite often it’s hard to understand why popular celebrities are foolish enough to have their nude photos or sex videos published especially on the Internet  . Though, it’s plausible that this wasn’t done intentionally by them or they were oblivious to the fact that their partners schemingly plastered these scandalous photos/ videos for the whole world to feast on.

Just recently, nude photos of Ashley Greene, another rising star whose name I’ve never even heard of until she played the role of Alice in Twillight and the upcoming sequel New Moon, surfaced on the Internet ;) . Her lawyer claims that these photos were taken years ago when Ashley was still 19 years old. How their skeletons got out of the closet that I don’t know. But the question still remains…do these celebrities deserve our sympathy or do they deserve criticism and animosity simply because they were immature and foolish?

In my opinion they still deserve the benefit of the doubt…well to some perhaps but not all ;) . It’s possible that they were foolish enough to flaunt their sexual activities when they were younger. I think that believing celebrities are exempted from making stupid mistakes is unrealistic and full of prejudice. They’re only human after all. Anyways, this shouldn’t be our problem since they’re the ones who’ll likely face the consequences of their actions. :)
