Vampires are just HOT HOT HOT nowadays! A new show will premiere tomorrow, Sept. 10, 2009 in the CW and CTV entitled the Vampire Diaries. The Vampire Diaries is a young adult horror series of novels written by L.J. Smith, a NYT Bestselling author of the Night World series. The show centers around Elena Gilbert, a high school girl torn between two vampire brothers. I wonder how this show would compare to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga or Charlaine Harris The Southern Vampire Mysteries, basis for Alan Ball’s True Blood.
