Mark Wahlberg & longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham

Last Saturday, August 1st, People confirmed that actor Mark Wahlberg finally made his relationship with longtime girlfriend model Rhea Durham official. The wedding was intimate and romantic. The ceremony was attended by their three children (Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Brendan Joseph) and 12 close friends and family at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.

According to People, an eyewitness stated that “Wahlberg donned a dark suit and the bride wore a white strapless Marchesa dress with silver embroidery and a Neil Lane diamond-and-platinum cushion-cut ring complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings. “She looked like a princess and beyond stunning. Mark looked ecstatic,” says an eyewitness shortly after the ceremony, which lasted for about 45 minutes in the church, which was decorated with candles and pink and light purple roses.”

During an interview with Wahlberg, he revealed earlier this year his plans to wed Durham. Quoting from People Magazine’s article

“We’re talking about August. At the time, he had yet to decide whether he would marry in his Boston hometown. “It will be in a Catholic church somewhere.”

As for adding more children to their brood? “I’m the youngest of nine,” Wahlberg said, adding that the final count will be “however many Mom wants to have.”

Wahlberg is next to star in the Peter Jackson-directed feature film, The Lovely Bones, opposite Rachel Weisz, in theaters on December 11.

Ben Affleck finally revealed his feelings during his time with Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Garner’s hubby recently admitted that dating the sexy JLo was not the greatest decision he’s ever made. In fact, she made him gross. Does this mean she needs to attend cosmetology colleges?

During an interview with Contact Music he stated “I was no longer in control of my life,” he told Contact Music. “I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn’t. I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity.”

“I was typecast as myself. Too many people weren’t getting past what they read about me. That was damaging. I can tell from experience it’s bad for you, and bad for your career. So I took a break, went away for a while and let things calm down.”

Now, Ben admitted that his career has taken a back seat but he no longer finds his job a priority. Being a father of two and having his own family organized his life and made him see clearly.

Actress turned-writer Brooke Shields

Despite having dated several celebrities, Michael Jackson kept a close personal relationship with actress turned-writer, Brooke Shields. An upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine would be featuring Shields and her special connection with MJ. During the interview, Shields revealed her childish moments with Jackson and all the fun times they enjoyed in each other’s company. Shields admitted that their bond was really special that Michael had asked her to marry him several times probably out of fear of loosing their friendship.

As a quote from an article in The Daily Dish, Shields elaborated that

“There were times when he would ask me to marry him, and I would say, ‘You have me for the rest of your life, you don’t need to marry me, I’m going to go on and do my own life and have my own marriage and my own kids, and you’ll always have me’.” Shields says of her relationship to the one she called “her little prince” at Tuesday’s public memorial ceremony. Still, there was no romantic connection between them, the actress stresses. “I think it made him relax. He didn’t want to lose things that meant something to him.” she explains.

On another interview with she clearly stated that she and Michael were simply very good friends and nothing more. She mentioned MJ was interested in talking about the birds and the bees and asking childishly about what first base and second base meant with no intention of pursuing such things. Furthermore, she admitted that Michael became more asexual to her as they grew older.

I was astounded by this article posted on transworldnews.com yesterday about the New Moon stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. It’s definitely shocking and surprising at the same time. I’m not sure if there’s any truth to this story though but I’ll definitely look forward to some updates.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who were reported to be dating on and off after the filming of the Twilight sequel New Moon has now been rumored to be expecting their first child together. According to transworld.com, Kristen Stewart recently discovered her pregnancy after asking a friend to pick up a pregnancy kit for her last week.

“Kristen asked one of her friends to buy the test because she was worried about someone seeing her at the drug store. She’s very nervous about the whole situation,” a source tells Australia’s NW magazine. “When she worked out she was late, she obviously started to think that she could be pregnant. And because of the timing, she thinks Rob could be the father.”

We still haven’t heard comments from Pattinson and Stewart. Currently both are busy with their upcoming movies with Stewart starring in The Runaways and Pattinson in Remember Me.
