Michael David Barrett, a man who has allegedly used a cellphone camera to record Erin Andrews after removing the door’s peephole and altering it with a hacksaw while staying at a Nashville Mariott was released today on a $4,500 bond. Barett had reportedly led a secret life involving stalking and videotaping women without their knowledge or consent before selling the footage to gossip sites on the Net. Barett will face federal charges for Internet stalking this Oct 23. If found guilty, penalty involves 5 years in federal prison as well as a fine of $250, 000.

Erin Andrews called 911

Last Wednesday, Erin Andrews, victim of the most searched peephole video, reportedly called 911 because of a stalker lurking around her home in Georgia. It was obvious that the unknown stalker was not aware that Andrews and her lawyer during a press conference issued a statement that her privacy be respected. It was also taken into account about finding and prosecuting the perpectrator who shot several videos of Erin Andrews naked in a hotel room. An inclusion of those who publish the illegal video will face civil and criminal lawsuits.

The Dunwoody Police responded to the 911 call and found the stalker at Andrew’s door. The suspicious character said he was a reporter and was only there for the purpose of internviewing Andrews. The reporter was allowed to leave after brief questioning.

ESPN had reportedly launched their own investigation; however, rumour has it that a member of Andrew’s production team may have been responsible for the illegal video.

Maricar Reyes, Hayden Kho’s ex-girlfriend received more criticisms and ridicule for appearing at ASAP last Sunday. Maricar participated during a short fashion show as one of the Star Magic talents. I’m not really sure if this is a good time for her to add more exposure to a rather doubtful public after all the controversies surrounding her sex scandal videos with Hayden Kho but what do we expect her do to?
